I haven’t been everywhere, but it is on my list!

 

I attribute my love of travel to my grandfather. While instilling his love of adventure in me, he also taught me how to read maps and navigate while riding shotgun in his RV. As a family of 5 plus my grandparents, we would load up and travel to Disney World, Grand Canyon, Branson, NASA, multiple beaches and many other fun locations while creating the most memorable moments that I now cherish as an adult.

 

Ten years ago, after being diagnosed with Celiac Disease and having to change to a gluten free diet, I was worried that my family’s travels would be limited. I appreciate the dedication that Disney, Universal, and most cruise lines have to ensure that individuals with special dietary needs can still enjoy traveling without the worry of illness or missing out on something with their family. Did you know that most cruise ship lines have separate cooking stations in order to prevent cross contamination? Now there is no excuse not to be able to travel around the world, port to port because of food allergies!

 

There is nothing better than going on vacation and leaving our hectic schedule behind. Our vacations create those moments of laughter, inside jokes, and reconnection to form stronger family bonds. Plus, our travels broaden our kids’ educational experience and help them connect to history and other cultures. My husband and I believe in taking our two kids on adventures to Disney, Universal and around the world in order to create the kind of memories that they will treasure when they have families of their own.
